It's time to hang the robe up.

Earlier this week we reported a...unique break-in in the Ramapo area in Rockland County. Several news outlets, such as ABC News and the Ramapo Police Department shared a video of a man breaking into a home in the early morning hours on Saturday, November 25th.

The man was caught on the homes security camera, climbing through a window, wearing a robe and slippers.

Ramapo Police Department released the security camera footage and asked the public if they knew anything to give them a call. And it worked.

According to a press release, on November 28th the Ramapo Police Investigation Division arrested 26 year old, Krzysztof Niepostyn. Through an investigation Niepostyn was identified and arrested.

Niepostyn was arraigned and released after posting $25, 000 cash bail and will have a court appearance in the future in the Village of Airmont Justice Court. He was charged with burglary in the 2nd degree which is a class c felony.
