Remember back in the day before everything was available online, going to Barnes & Noble and just chilling out for few hours with a book and some coffee?

Now, Barnes & Noble wants to reinvent itself, and win back some of those customers they have lost to Amazon over the years.

And what better way than with alcohol?

A new concept Barnes & Noble store plans to open in October in Eastchester, New York, that will feature an expanded food menu and - yes, a selection of wine and beer. The Eastchester location will be the first of four new concept stores nationwide that will serve up some booze while you sit back and enjoy your favorite book.

The other three new stores will open at the Edina Galleria in Edina, Minnesota, the Palladio in Folsom, California, and at One Loudon in Loudon, Virginia.

Hey, it could be worth a trip for book lovers. Just don't get too tanked.
