A Thruway Authority maintenance barge got stuck under the Tappan Zee Bridge during overnight storms, according to lohud.com. Officials are reporting that there was no damage the Tappan Zee or the nearby new project bridge under construction. A corner of the barge was discovered resting on a pile cap at low tide on Tuesday.

It was not immediately clear exactly where the barge ended up under the bridge. Officials suspect it landed under the bridge due to unusually high tides during storms that effected the area late Monday night into early Tuesday.
