At least 23 people were killed when a TransAsia Airways flight hit a highway overpass in New Taipai, Taiwan.  58 people were on board when the flight crashed into the Keelung River Wednesday. Fifteen people were rescued, leaving 20 people missing.

Flight GE235 took off from Taipei's Songshan Airport when it suddenly turned on its side over the highway. The pilot issued a mayday, but the cause of the crash is not clear.
