Aroldis Chapman just signed the biggest contract ever for a Major League closer.

The NY Daily News says that Chapman agreed to a five-year, $86 million deal with the New York Yankees Wednesday.

This makes Chapman a Yankee for the second time in just a year.

The left hander with the rocket arm had a 2.01 ERA, and 20 saves in 31 games in 2016. The Yankees ended up trading him to the Chicago Cubs in July for four players.

Chapman would go on to help the Cubs win their first World Series title since 1908.

Now, he's back in the Bronx and the Yankees have restocked their farm system with a number of promising talents.

The Yankees have been busy so far this offseason as they already signed the Matt Holliday earlier this week, for a one year, $13 million dollars contract. The former St. Louis Cardinal will serve as the Yankee's DH next year.
