Two armed gunmen in ski masks brazenly held up a Hudson Valley bank on Monday morning and walked away with $200,000.

According to a press release by Hudson Heritage Federal Credit Union, two armed men in ski masks forced their way into the credit union's branch on Corwin Court in Newburgh at approximately 8:15 AM. They demanded cash and exited with over $200,000.

The Hudson Heritage Federal Credit Union says that their branch staff followed proper security protocols and as a result everyone inside the bank was kept safe.

The Newburgh Police Department is currently investigating the incident and no other details are available at this time. Those who have accounts at the credit union can rest easy, as the bank is fully insured by the National Credit Union Association (NCUA) for up to $250,000.

Those who have any information about the robbery are asked to call the Newburgh Police Department.
