A 33-year-old year Poughkeepsie man is behind bars after leading police on a wild chase that saw him strike several local and state police vehicles.

The Times Herald Record reports that Mark Bressendor was approached by Newburgh Police officer Andres Arestin, on Wednesday morning, after police responded to a complaint about loud noise coming from a vehicle. Bressendor, whose license is reportedly suspended, jumped into the car as the officer approached. He was soon caught and arrested.
