Area Man Dies After Jumping Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge

A 57 year old Kingston man died Thursday after jumping from the Kingston Rhinecliff Bridge. Ulster 911 received a call around 10:52 am that there was a jumper on the bridge. Police say that four police agencies, three fire departments and an ambulance squad responded to the call. The man's body was recovered from the Hudson River and taken to HealthAlliance Hospital’s Broadway Campus.
