Sibling rivalries are always a thing, but this might be taking things a little far. State Police say two brothers were from Stone Ridge were arrested after threatening to fight each other with a bat and sword.

According to the Times Herald Record, state police from the Kingston barracks were called to a home after reports of a domestic dispute. There they found 23-year old Steven Medina and his 20-year old brother, David Thompson involved an in an altercation.

An investigation found that Medina threatened Thompson with a sword and Thompson assaulted Medina with a baseball bat in retaliation. Both were arrested and are being charged with misdemeanor criminal weapons possession. Police say Medina is also facing a misdemeanor menacing charge, and Thompson is being charged with felony assault.
