Just two years ago they were in the World Series. Now, they're eight games behind .500 and upper management seems to be ready to point the finger.

But is it really all his fault? The Mets have been hampered with injuries all season. Some have speculated the Mets upper brass haven't liked how Collins has handled questions about player injuries with the media. Collins has always believed in being open with the press, and now management doesn't seem happy with his willingness to talk.
