Are Hudson Valley drivers obnoxious? Watch the video and judge for yourself.

Being a life long New Yorker, growing up here in the Hudson Valley, I've always heard phrases like "Jersey drivers are the worst" or Massachusetts drivers are "Mass-holes." But maybe, just maybe, we here in the Hudson Valley could be considered douches behind the wheel as well.

Think about it: how many times do you find yourself yelling at someone for cutting you off, or just driving like ass? A listener was kind enough to send us some dashcam footage that took place on Route 9W in Highland, near the on-ramp to the Mid-Hudson Bridge and entrance to the Walkway Over the Hudson.

In the video above, you see the car make a last effort to make the light, by passing on the left and flying through the intersection. They didn't even come close to making the light. Here's a screen shot of when the light "turned red". Notice anything? Yup that's right, the car isn't even in sight.

Not only is the first car running the light as well, the second jackass isn't even in frame. So what do you think, are we just as bad as the ones we've always criticized?

If you're in need of more proof that we may in fact be obnoxious behind the wheel, don't forget the dummy that crashed on Rt.44 trying to drift in a damn Ford Focus.
