Three Hudson Valley locations received national attention recently when featured in Architectural Digest's look at '5 Nature Getaways from NYC'. We're fortunate to have these great towns and locations right here in our backyard.

  • New Paltz
  • Hunter Mountain
  • Lake Placid
  • Cold Spring
  • Lake George

New Paltz has a lot to offer for those looking to get outdoors. The Shawangunk Ridge, along with Mohonk Preserve and Minneswaska State Park are all great options. Whether it's hiking, cycling or rock climbing, you'll find what you're looking for. There's also a wine trail, farmer's markets and great restaurants to visit after a day of hiking.

Hunter Mountain is a great place to visit in the winter months, but they do a great job of hosting fun events all year round. Mountain Jam and Taste of Country are two of the areas marquee events. TAP NY is a great yearly event, as is their Celtic and German Alps Festival. Taking a ride on their zip line could be a fun option too.

Cold Spring in Putnam County sits right on the banks of the Hudson River. Hiking, cycling and kayaking are just a few outdoor options in Cold Spring. Breakneck Ridge offers some of the best views in the Hudson Valley.
