Apple is recalling over 220-thousand portable speakers because they allegedly could start a fire.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission says the recall involves all Beats Pill XL portable wireless speakers.

Apple says there have been eight incidents of the speakers overheating. The company says the hot speaker has burned one person's finger and damaged the desk of another. Apple says consumers should stop using the speakers immediately and return them for an Apple store credit or online payment.
