We finally learn how to properly eat an ice cream cake, as well as other myths about serving this popular frozen treat.

Steven and Stacey from Joe's Dairy Bar in Hopewell Junction have won the Boris & Robyn Show's Battle of the Best contest for two years standing. As the Hudson Valley's favorite ice cream shop they're the experts on everything ice cream, so we put asked them some of the most burning questions about ice cream cakes.

We found out the exact time you should let an ice cream cake defrost on the table before cutting it, what should actually be used to separate the two different layers of ice cream and Steve even settled one of the longest running debates about eating ice cream cake: Fork or spoon?

For ages we've always wondered if you're supposed to eat an ice cream cake with a spoon or a fork. Because it's a cake, some people think a fork is the obvious way to go. But because the cake is made from ice cream, others believe that you just have to use a spoon.

Well, Steven gave us his expert opinion so we're going to have to defer to him. Do you agree with his decision? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below or on our Facebook page.
