It's a story that seems far too familiar.  A man was shopping in a local Target store when multiple good Samaritans called 911 to report that he had left his dog in a dangerously hot car.

According to the Times Herald Record, police arrested 38-year-old Michael Garza from Brooklyn on Sunday after he allegedly left his dog inside his SUV while shopping for over 45 minutes at Target in Monroe.  He was charged with leaving the animal in a vehicle with extreme temperatures.  The dog was released to family members while Garza waits to appear in the Town of Monroe court on September 11th.
