The Hudson Valley and northeastern U.S. were feeling almost more like Florida last week, as rain and tropical-like conditions hung over the region. Will it return though?

We finally got a break from the rain and humidity Sunday, but don't get used to it. The forecast is calling for a return of uncomfortable levels of humidity and a chance of thunderstorms as we enter the new week.

Monday is looking like it will be the nicest day, with highs in lower 80s under partly cloudy skies. Lows are expected to go down to the mid 60s.

The humid air and chance of afternoon thunderstorms are predicted to return by Tuesday. There will be a chance of scattered thunderstorms with highs in the mid 80s and lows around 70.

Temperatures will hover in the mid to upper 80s for the rest of the week with a chance of thunderstorms each day. Lows won't get much cooler, as it will only go down to the lower 70s.

Remember to stay hydrated and wear plenty of sunscreen if you're going to be outdoors. Have a great week!
