There is not a whole lot to tell you about this week as far as new music releases.  Not a lot, but there are a couple of things that might interest you.

Heart fans will be happy about the new Ann Wilson EP.  After all thees years with Heart, this is the first time she's gone solo. I'm surprised she didn't do something like this sooner, but at least she did it.  The band she's playing with for the EP and the solo tour is being called The Ann Wilson Thing. And Wasp fans will be happy this week, too.  Wasp is releasing their first studio album since 2009.

Even though there is not a lot being released today, the rest of the month looks promising.  New stuff on the way from Bryan Adams, Def Leppard, and Rod Stewart.  Cool reissues from Rush and Van Morrison.  And live Lynyrd Skynyrd and Velvet Underground.  In the meantime, here are today's releases

W.A.S.P., Golgotha
The Ann Wilson Thing!, #1 (EP).
