Looking for something fun to do with the kids that won't cost an arm and a leg? This Saturday, March 24, the Town of Liberty Parks and Recreation will hold its annual Easter Egg Hunt, and all activities are free.

Festivities kick off at 10 am when you can pet the live bunnies and color Easter pictures at the Liberty Public Library on N. Main Street. At 11 am  children ages 1 – 8 will gather on the Liberty Elementary softball field for the Easter egg hunt, meet the Easter Bunny, and play games to win prizes. And at noon everyone will gather at the Liberty Elks Lodge for lunch, take a photo with the Easter Bunny, and receive an Easter basket filled with goodies!

In the event of rain, the event will be postponed to Sunday, March 25. For more information, call the Liberty Parks & Recreation office at (845) 292-7690, or visit the Town of Liberty’s website.
