Watch America Celebrate After World Cup Win Over Ghana [VIDEO]

Not too many people knew who John Anthony Brooks was before yesterday, but after his incredible goal 87 minutes in to the USMNT's opening game against Ghana... the 21 year old rookie defender has become a household name.

Brooks was born in Germany, as his father was stationed there in the US military. It was uncertain a few months back if he'd even make the US team. Brooks ended up came off the bench to become the United States' first back up player to ever score in a World Cup game. What makes this victory even sweeter was the fact that Ghana had knocked the US out of the last two Cup's in 2010, and 2006.
