Amazing video of cat saving boy’s life

We've all heard of a dog being man's best friend, but don't count out that pet cat! Sure, cats seem pretty aloof and uninterested most of the time, but when push comes to shove they may just save your life.

Take this amazing surveillance video, obtained by 23ABC in Bakersville, as an example.  A young boy was riding his bike in the driveway when the neighbor's dog attacked, grabbing his leg.  The family cat, named Tara, springs into immediate action and fends off the dog, chasing him away.  You just have to see the video to believe it:
