Ace Frehley Says Former Kiss Bandmates Have Taken ‘Cheap Shots’ at Him

Former Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley says former bandmates such as Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons took some “cheap shots” at him in their autobiographies, and promises to respond in kind with his second book.

In the first part of an exclusive video interview, Frehley explains that he’s already working on the follow-up to his 2011 chronicle ‘No Regrets,’ and says, “This time around, I’m probably not going to be quite as nice as I was to those guys on the first book.” He then uncorks his famous cackling laugh and jokingly bellows, “I know their deepest, darkest secrets!”

As you can see above, the guitar hero also looks back on the drama surrounding Kiss’ recent induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and reveals why the world was robbed of the chance to watch him and Bruce Springsteen perform AC/DC‘s ‘Highway to Hell’ together.

We’ll have more from our talk with Frehley in the coming weeks — including his thoughts on a couple of classic Kiss albums that will be celebrating big anniversaries this year, and news on his upcoming solo album, ‘Space Invader.’ Frehley also recently spoke to our brothers-in-metal, Loudwire, and you can watch that interview below:
