Accidental Lockdown Drill Initiated at New York High School

State Police responded to an accidental lockdown drill on Thursday.

On Thursday, State Police repsonded to John Jay High School in Lewisboro, N.Y. to assist the School Resource Officer with an accidental lock down initiation.

It appears at this time,the emgency procedure was accidentally initiated by a staff member.

The SRO and State Police responded to the emergency call, and quickly determined there was no threat to the safety of any member of the student body, staff, or community.
