Aaron Paul Announces ‘Breaking Bad’ Spinoff With Jessie Pinkman

Aaron Paul sent TV fans into a frenzy by announcing that he will star in a new "Breaking Bad" spinoff centered around his character, Jessie Pinkman.

While using the live-streaming app, Periscope, Paul addressed a few thousand fans who were watching him by saying:

15 minutes ago Vince Gilligan told me that it was ok to tell the world how I saw fit that... there will be in fact... be a spinoff for Jessie Pinkman's character from 'Breaking Bad'

Paul went on to explain that the show would take place in Alaska, where Pinkman goes into hiding after the events of the Breaking Bad finale take place.

This sounds like an amazing story that would have endless posibilities, right?  There's just one problem: It's not true.

Aaron Paul followed up his "big announcement" with this confession:

I feel so bad... everything that I just said was not true.

Aaron! Why do you toy with our emotions like that?!?! So it looks like we won't actually see the return of Jessie Pinkman after all. That is, unless this is just a tease for some other big announcement to come in the near future. With the huge success that "Better Call Saul" has seen during it's first season it's not entirely unlikely another "Breaking Bad" spin-off might actually be in the works.

Well, we can still hope, can't we?
