If you like food, or if you like networks, may I recommend to you the Food Network? It seems like a perfect combination of both of your interests. It's no secret that the Food Network showcases the best food and chefs from all over, often putting them in competition with each other to see who is truly the best. And now, a Hudson Valley chef is one of the finalists on their show Food Network Star.

Christian Petroni from Port Chester was actually featured on the network in the past; he won the fourth season of Chopped and has served as a judge on the show in the past. Petroni co-owns Fortina, a restaurant with locations in Rye Brook, Armonk, Yonkers, Brooklyn and Stamford.

He's playing alongside 18 other finalists who will be judged by Bobby Flay and Giada De Laurentiis to determine whether they have what it takes to be the next big personality of the Food Network. Season 14 of Food Network Star begins on June 10th.
