A Duck Walks In To a Bar, Gets Into Fight With A Dog. This is Not a Joke

Star is a duck. Star likes to drink. Yes, the boozy, bow tie wearing duck is a well known regular in some of the neighborhood pubs and taverns in Great Britain.

Star is the pet of 69 year-old Barrie Hayman, a former scuba diving instructor in Australia, now living in Chulmleigh, Devon. The two have actually raise hundreds of dollars for charity with their unique street performance.

But this is where the story gets even weirder.

So, Hayman and Star were at the The Old Courthouse Inn having a drink (yes, the duck drinks beer). Always one to bring his 'kids' everywhere with him, Hayman's other pet...a dog named Meggie wasn't having any of Star's drunken shenanigans. That's when the dog attacked - - leaving the duck with his bottom beak split down the middle.

Star was the duck was rushed to the vet for treatment. Hayman says...

He had to be rushed to the vets and go under anesthetic, which is always risky and could go either way with ducks and other small animals.

Thankfully our Star is a tough cookie and it looks like he came out okay, not sure we came out quite as well.
