Police: Hudson Valley Man Struck Girlfriend With Vehicle

A 27-year old man is being accused of striking his girlfriend with his vehicle. 

Samar C. Figueroa, of Clifton Park, has been charged with reckless endangerment, which is a misdemeanor, as reported by the Daily Freeman.

Police responded to a hit and run report involving a pedestrian at a home in Esopus. After investigating, Ulster County sheriffs revealed that Figueroa and his girlfriend had been involved in a domestic dispute. He was operating a vehicle that struck his girlfriend, causing her injury.

Figueroa was arraigned in Esopus court and released without bail. He is due back in court this week.

He was also ordered to stay away from the woman.
