A seven month sting operation, at five different massage parlors, has lead to the arrest of seven women in Rockland County on misdemeanor charges of prostitution and a felony count of unauthorized practice for not having a state massage license. The stings were carried out by detectives from the Clarkstown Police, as well as District Attorney's Office investigators, along with prosecutors with the District Attorney's Office special victims and community prosecution bureaus. Officials in Rockland County have been attempting to crack down on such operations, that offer massages paired with offers of illicit activities for extra money, for years.

Undercover officers had visited  Z Green Spa in Nanuet, Keum Tree Spa in New City, Nanuet Spa on Route 59, New City Spa, and the Nyack Health Spa based on surveillance, as well as complaints from nearby residents.
