Village of Maybrook

East Fishkill

Germantown

Details: Join the Germantown Parks and Recreation committee for a family evening of fun at Palatine Park in Germantown for its annual Independence Day celebration. Fireworks above the lake will take place at 9:30 p.m. A raindate has been set for Saturday, July 5.

Kingston Waterfront

Details: The historic Rondout will be the place to be Friday July 4th! The excitement starts at 4pm with a free concert featuring 3 local bands on stage in T.R. Gallo Park. Then after 9pm, be on hand for a special video tribute to our troops and fallen heros followed by a gigantic fireworks display at 9:30. This year is set to be bigger and better than ever before. Performers include: Old Double E , The Cagneys, and Mister Kick. All of the waterfront Restaurants will have food available with outdoor dining options.The Streets close to traffic at 4 pm and Shuttles will be running from 3-11 pm. Shuttles will be located at Kingston Point Beach, The Kingston Plaza, as well as on Cornell St. across from Frank Guido’s Little Italy.

Mohonk Mountain House

Detail: Mohonk Mountain House's 4th of July weekend will include demonstrations at the Firehouse, a carnival at its Kids' Club, a log roll and porch dive, and a parade. Mohonk will hold its Illumination of the Mountain fireworks display on July 4th. The weekend events also include a live performance by Cathi Lou and Roger Thorpe and a ceremonial reading of the Declaration of Independence.

Town of Monroe

Details: Monroe will have its Independence Day Festival on Friday with fireworks at dusk. A rain date of July 5 has been set.

City of Poughkeepsie

Admission Price: $10 at Walkway Over the Hudson; Free at Waryas Park
Details: The City of Poughkeepsie's annual fireworks spectacular on July 4th can be viewed either from Waryas Park (free of charge) or from up on the Walkway Over the Hudson State Historic Park). Wristbands are for sale, and you’re required to purchase them in advance to use the Walkway (age 5 years & up) for $10. The gates open at 6:30 p.m. Fireworks begin at dusk (9-9:30pm) from a barge on the Hudson River. Waryas Park is located at 1 Main Street, Poughkeepsie, 12601. Village of Saugerties

Details: Saugerties will hold a parade Friday at 11 a.m. Fireworks will be held at dusk. Community activities will take place on Saturday and Sunday, including a car show on Main & Partition Street on Sunday at 1 p.m. The Saugerties Historical Society will dedicate a newly built replica of an Old Dutch Barn on Saturday at 1 p.m.

Town of Wallkill

West Point

Time: 8 p.m.

Details: The West Point Band will present its annual Independence Day celebration on July 4 at 8 p.m. In the event of inclement weather, the performance will be held on July 6. The concert will start with the “Salute to the States,” where a new cadet from each of state presents the state’s flag while the band plays. The evening will continue with music ranging from marches to rock and roll, followed by a fireworks display over the Hudson River.

Beekman

Details: The Town of Lloyd Old Fashion Fun & Fireworks will take place at the Town Field from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. The event will include live music, local food vendors, games and a bounce castle. The fireworks will kick off at dusk.
