A traffic stop in Orange County led to the arrest of 4, including two teens, on drug charges.

Following a traffic stop on Route 17 in the Town of Monroe, State Police charged 39-year-old William Reyes, Richie Reyes, 20, both from the Bronx, Alexander Mancello, and Trevor J. Tompkins, both 19, from Monticello with 3rd-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, 4th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and controlled substance in non-original container.

Police say Reyes gave a fake name, was found to be in possession of a forged credit card which the account number was reported stolen, and in possession of a hypodermic needle loaded with heroin.

Reyes was additionally charged with 2nd-degree possession of a forged instrument, 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, possession of a hypodermic instrument, 3rd-degree identity theft, 2nd-degree criminal impersonation, and 2nd-degree aggravated unlicensed operator.

Macello was additionally charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.

William Reyes was arraigned in the Town of Monroe Justice Court and was remanded to Orange County Jail with no bail or bond.

Richie Reyes, Trevor J. Tompkins, and Alexander Mancello were arraigned in the Town of Monroe Justice Court and were remanded to Orange County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash bail and $30,000 bond.

All 4 are due to appear in the Town of Monroe Court on March 31.
