Police: 350 Pound Man Steals 5 Rib Eyes From Wal-Mart

Rodney Fowler likes to eat. The 350-pound Spartanburg, SC man stands accused of shoplifting at a Wal-Mart in his area. It's the choice of item Fowler stole that's drawing attention. Fowler allegedly stole five rib eye steaks from the Wal-Mart. Perhaps he was doing some early Thanksgiving shopping?

Reports indicate that Fowler, who was riding a motorized scooter in the store, was sitting on the rib eyes before being approached by an employee from the loss prevention department after he was seen riding by the checkout lines. Fowler was arrested and taken to county jail. He remained there for three hours and was released without bond.

Police say that the officer who cuffed him had to use two pairs of handcuffs due to his size.
