Police are actively investigating and hoping for the public’s help after three people were shot, including a teen, early Saturday morning outside a bar in Newburgh.

Just after 2AM Saturday, City of Newburgh Police responded to the area of 778 Broadway for a report of shots being fired. Once on the scene, police confirmed multiple shootings took place outside the 845 Lounge bar.

Police located a 21-year-old man City of Newburgh resident with a gunshot wound to his lower back and a 26-year-old woman from the Town of Newburgh who was shot in the lower left leg. Both were transported to St. Luke's Hospital.

At St Luke's Hopstial, a third victim was located by police. A 19-year-old man from the City of Newburgh was being treated for a gunshot wound to his upper right shoulder area.

Police are not releasing the victims' names. Officials say the medical status for all three is unknown at this time, but their injuries don’t appear to be life-threatening.
