Three popular Hudson Valley bars sold alcohol to an undercover minor, police say.

An 18-year-old undercover volunteer helped Dutchess County police by trying to purchase alcohol at various bars and restaurants.

The Poughkeepsie Journal reports that 3 locations allegedly sold alcohol to the minor, with their employees now facing misdemeanor charges of first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child.

The establishments that police say violated the law were The Iron Furnace in Union Vale, Hobnobbin Pub in Red Oaks Mill and Mulligan’s Irish House in Poughkeepsie. In November, another sting was conducted where Michael's in Wappingers Falls was accused of serving an undercover minor.
