In separate investigations, three men were arrested after they allegedly sold drugs to undercover officers.

The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of three people following investigations into drug sales in Mahopac, Southeast and Putnam Valley.

Matthew Slader, 36, of Mahopac, was charged with three-counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance and three-counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, all felonies.

According to criminal complaints filed in Carmel Justice Court, Slader sold Suboxone to an undercover deputy sheriff on three separate occasions. It is also alleged that he was found in possession of heroin when he was arrested.

John Power, 20, of Southeast, is accused of selling prescription medications and cocaine to an undercover deputy sheriff on multiple occasions.

Power was charged with two-counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a controlled substance, felonies.

Albert Tapia, 24, of Putnam Valley was charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a controlled substance, both felonies.

In complaints filed in Putnam Valley Justice Court, Tapia is accused of selling heroin to an undercover officer.

All three face future court dates.
