3 Poughkeepsie residents, including a 16-year-old, were arrested after police say they seized drugs and stolen guns.

Authorities went to 197 Mill Street in Poughkeepsie looking for a subject who had absconded from Community Supervision. Upon knocking on the door to the basement apartment, 24-year-old Nicholas Harris aka “Bados”, who had an arrest warrant for possession of a weapon, was arrested.

Two other males and a 15-year-old were detained after an AR-15 assault rifle and a quantity of heroin were observed in plain sight within the apartment.

A search warrant of the apartment yielded more heroin, marijuana, and a stolen revolver, officials say.

Harris, 25-year-old Jihad Williams, and Manoj Ruparelia, 16, all of the City of Poughkeepsie were all charged with 2nd-degree criminal possession of a weapon, 4th-degree criminal possession of stolen property, 3rd-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and criminal possession of marijuana .

Harris and Williams were also charged with endangering the welfare of minor, relating to the unnamed 15-year-old that was inside the apartment.

The 15-year-old was released without charges into the custody of his mother.

Harris, Williams, and Ruparelia were all sent to the Dutchess County Jail on $100,000 cash bail or $250,000 bond.
