3 Arrested Following Stabbing at Galleria, Two Also Charged in Separate Robbery

Three were arrested following a stabbing at the Galleria, two are teens. Two of the three arrested were also charged in a separate robbery case.

On Saturday April 16, Wallkill Police responded to a reported assault at the AMC Crystal Run 16 Theater, within the Galleria at Crystal Run. A 20-year-old victim from Swan Lake was suffering from multiple stab wounds to his torso and leg, police say.

According to the victim, he was attacked by a group of males, one which stabbed him. He was transported to Orange Regional Medical Center and admitted to the ICU in serious condition.

Based on the descriptions provided by witnesses three suspects were arrested. 17-year-old Colleam Small, Chandel Abel, 26, and 19-year-old Collie Small, all of Middletown were charged with 1st-degree assault. Collie Small was also charged with criminal possession of a weapon.

Police say Colleam Small and Able were identified as suspects of a robbery that occurred at the Galleria on March 11. Both were charged with 2nd-degree robbery and 4th-degree grand larceny.

All three defendants were arraigned in the Town of Wallkill Court and remanded to Orange County Jail.
