26 Daycare Children Hospitalized For Drinking Bleach

After drinking water from a pitcher alleged contaminated with bleach, over 2 dozen children in daycare have been rushed to the hospital. 4 New York is reporting that the children, most of them under the age of 4, were attending The Growing Tree II Learning Center in Jersey City, NJ. They were apparently served water from a pitcher that actually contained cleaning materials.

The good news is that most of the children have been released to their parents.  None of the hospitalized children have shown any sign of sickness, but are continuing to be evaluated by doctors.  Three adults were also admitted with the children before 11am this morning.
