The 2016 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony was full of some great performances and big controversies.

We spoke with Ira Robbins from Premiere Networks, who attended the ceremony, and he told us that the night was a lot of fun, but also not without its share of drama. Of course, Steve Miller made headlines after going off on a rant backstage about the organizers of the event and the way the artists are treated. But that wasn't the only uncomfortable moment of the night.

Robbins said that some of the highlights included speeches by Lars Ulrich who inducted Deep Purple and Kid Rock, who surprisingly had some pretty funny things to say about Cheap Trick. Rick Nielsen and Robin Zander reunited with drummer Bun E. Carlos for an unforgettable performance.

You can hear Ira's recap of the night including even more controversies including NWA and Chicago in our interview below.

What do you think about the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? Do you think it's a cool way to recognize artists or has all of the drama overshadowed the evening? Let us know your thoughts below.
