Tonight, Aug. 2, grab the family and enjoy the City of Poughkeepsie's 2016 National Night Out from 5-8 pm at Poughkeepsie City Hall, 62 Civic Center Plaza.  It will be an evening for kids and adults that is both fun and educational.

There will be live music, children's entertainment, face painting, balloon animals, and vendors.  Plus, free hot dogs, and other refreshments will also be available.  At 5:30 you can see the K-9 demonstration and meet the K-9 dogs.  At 6 pm there will be a fire safety demo, and at 7 pm a police motorcycle demo.  Then at 7:30 a police bicycle patrol demo.

Tonight's events are free, and sponsored by the City of Poughkeepsie Police Athletic League and the Poughkeepsie Police Benevolent Association.  It is a great way to teach the kids about safety and community, and have a fun evening at the same time.  For more information on tonight's National Night Out, please visit  https://www.facebook.com/events/1715006292088545/
