An explosion at a Middletown business left two people injured Friday morning. An air tanker that was being filled by employees at Oprandy's Fire & Safety Equipment exploded just before 10AM Friday morning and the vibration of the explosion was felt by neighbors of the local business on Brookline Ave.

According to Orange and Rockland County Fire's Facebook account, which monitors police and fire scanners in the area, the two who injured were flown by medivacs to Westchester hospitals with serious injuries.

Wallkill police, New York State Police and Mechanicstown Fire Department are still at the scene of the explosion.
