A traffic stop in Dutchess County led to two arrests after police allegedly found a gun and drugs.

New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation from the Wappinger barracks arrested 22-year-old pulled over a car on Route 9D in the Town of Fishkill for allegedly running a red. As police investigated they say they found that 22-year-old Latif S. Reid-Ogarro of Wappingers Falls was in possession of a revolver with a defaced serial number, while a 23-year-old had a small amount of marijuana.

Reid-Ogarro was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, a class D felony. He was arraigned at the City of Beacon Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash or $50,000 bond.

The 23-year-old received a violation for marijuana possession. He was issued an appearance ticket and is due back in court on Oct. 5.
