Two men were arrested following an investigation into a number of Dutchess County burglaries.

The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Kyle C. Coon of Milan and 27-year-old Jon. T. Holt following a number of recent residential burglaries which occurred in the Town of Milan and surrounding areas over a five day period at the end of September.

Police didn't go into details about the robberies but say a significant amount of alleged stolen property has been recovered.

Coon was charged with burglary, a felony, and three counts of criminal possession of stolen property, misdemeanors. Holt was arrested on two felony counts for burglary and three counts of criminal possession of stolen property, misdemeanors.

The burglary charges for Holt were in the Town of Milan, all other charges are in the Town of Poughkeepsie, police say.

Holt was arraigned before the Town of Milan Court and released to the supervision of probation. Coon who was was already in the Dutchess County Jail for a probation violation remains in the Dutchess County Jail.
